The nearest airports are in the cities of Palermo and Catania, at roughly the same distance (…miles), however it’s easier to reach Gangi from Catania. We recommend to rent a car at the airport but you can also use public transportation to reach the city centres of Palermo and Catania and then take a bus or a train to reach Gangi, public transportantion is considerably more time consuming.

BY SHIP OR FERRY

The nearest and more comfortable port is Palermo, connected with the main ports of Italy. From the port you can take a train and/or a bus, but it’s easier by car.

BY TRAIN

Gangi’s nearest train station is in Cefalù, which connected with Sicily’s main cities. From Cefalù you can reach Gangi by bus or you can rent a car.

BY BUS

Sais bus-lines offers daily routes from Cefalù, Palermo and Catania.

BY CAR

This is certainly the best way to reach Gangi, driving through wonderful and panoramic streets.
From Palermo: take highway A19, take Irosa exit and then reach Blufi, Madonnuzza, Gangi.
From Catania: take highway A19, take Irosa exit and then reach Blufi, Madonnuzza, Gangi.
From Cefalù: take SS 286 towards Castelbuono, then reach Geraci Siculo and Gangi.
From Messina: take highway A 20 towards Palermo, take Tusa exit, then follow SS 113 towards Palermo, after 4 km turn in SP 52 to Gangi, after 30 km turn right to Gangi.
